Ingredients
15 wonton wrappers
Coleslaw (recipe from Nashville Hot Chicken Waffle Sandwich)
2 lbs. Ground chicken
14 oz. paneer
2-3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
3 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
Instructions
In a bowl take the ground chicken and add in teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and soy sauce. Mix well and set aside.
In a non-stick pan add some olive oil and the chicken mixture. Cook chicken for 7-10 mins or until it’s fully cooked.
For the fried wonton, in a frying pan add about 2 inches of oil and heat under medium flame. Once oil has heated add in wonton wrapper. To get the taco shape take a salad serving tong and fold in half as a shape of a diamond.
Once fried, place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
To assemble the taco, take the fried wonton shell and add in the chicken mixture. Add coleslaw and top with fresh coriander and jalapeno slices. Enjoy!!
Notes:
To make it vegetarian, instead of chicken, substitute to ground paneer.
For the coleslaw, the recipe is under the Nashville hot chicken sandwich.
