Ingredients:
4 Italian sub rolls
5 tbsp butter, melted
4-5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp italian seasoning
1 tsp crushed black pepper
½ tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
½ Lettuce, roughly chopped
1 small red onion, sliced
2-3 roasted red pepper, chopped
1 jalapeno, cubed
1 ½ cup mayonnaise
4 slices pepper jack cheese
4 slices provolone cheese
Method:
Take a bowl of melted butter with grated garlic and add in italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
In another bowl add lettuce, onions, mayonnaise, roasted red peppers, jalapeno peppers and mix. For extra spice add crushed red pepper flakes.
On the bread, spread the garlic butter mixture inside and outside. Add a slice of pepper jack cheese and provolone cheese.
Toast for 5-7 mins until the cheese melts. Once toasted place veggie mixture and top with tomatoes. Add additional crushed red pepper if needed.
Serve warm and enjoy!!
